Directora chilena-venezolana, graduada de la Universidad de Chile en Realización de Cine. Comenzó su camino como directora de arte, siendo nominada a los premios Pedro Sienna por la película chilena "Matar a un Hombre". Becada continúa sus estudios en dirección de arte, puesta en escena y dirección de actores en la EICTV en Cuba. Ha dirigido piezas breves para el Festival de Cine de Mujeres FEMCINE en Chile y ha impartido el Taller de cine en la Escuela de Teatro de la Universidad de Chile.
Una de sus piezas más destacadas es “El Milagro” (2019), estrenada en HBO New York Film Festival, como también en SANFIC15 recibiendo la mención de honor por parte del jurado. Ganadora del premio principal en el festival Literally Short en Houston. Destacado como mejor cortometraje en el 2021 en la 13ª versión del Festival Internacional de Cine LGBTIQ+ organizado por el Movilh en Chile. Recibe también el premio “Visión crítica” en la Red de Festivales de Cine en Chile durante la pandemia.
En 2021 es invitada a dirigir dos capítulos de “La vida de nosotras” serie nominada a los premios Emmy internacionales 2024.
Actualmente Daniela reside en España y finalizó en 2023 el Máster en Dirección Cinematográfica becada en La Escuela Internacional de Fotografía en Madrid.

Chilean-Venezuelan director, graduated from the University of Chile in Film Making. She began her path as an art director, being nominated for the Pedro Sienna Awards for the Chilean film "Matar a un Hombre". Becada continues her studies in art direction, staging and directing actors at EICTV in Cuba. She has directed short pieces for the FEMCINE Women's Film Festival in Chile and has taught the Film Workshop at the Theater School of the University of Chile.
One of her most notable pieces is “El Milagro” (2019), premiered at HBO New York Film Festival, as well as at SANFIC15, receiving an honorable mention from the jury. Winner of the main prize at the Literally Short festival in Houston. Featured as best short film in 2021 in the 13th version of the LGBTIQ+ International Film Festival organized by Movilh in Chile. He also received the “Critical Vision” award at the Network of Film Festivals in Chile during the pandemic.
In 2021 she is invited to direct two episodes of “The Life of Us,” a series nominated for the 2024 International Emmy Awards.
Daniela currently resides in Spain and completed the Master in Film Direction in 2023 with a scholarship from the International School of Photography in Madrid.
